Kabir makes Rotary Paddle Level Switches, specially suitable for high and low level signalization or automatic level control (by starting & stopping pumps or opening & closing valves) in vessels. The horizontal mounting type can be installed directly on the vessel or on an external chamber.

Description:

• Compact and rugged construction consisting of a free-moving pivoted float assembly and a switch enclosure made of non-magnetic material to achieve undisturbed magnetic flux.

• Employs dual magnets, one carried by the float arm and the other by the contact carriers housed in the switch enclosure.

• A change in liquid level brings the like poles of dual magnets opposite each other, and the resulting repulsion force ensures a snap-action changeover of contacts.

• Glandless magnetic transmission eliminates any leakage from the vessel into the switch housing.

• Manufactured in various materials, enclosures, and special features to suit a broad range of media and applications.

• Designed to provide high repeatability and minimize the effects of shock, vibration, and pressure.

Installation:

• Mounted internally or externally through a chamber.

• External mounting is used where space is limited or mechanical devices (like stirrers) operate inside the tank.

• For applications like boilers or reaction kettles, external mounting allows isolation for regular servicing.

• Normally side-mounted, but top installation is preferred for slurry applications.

• The switch can be wired directly to make or break electrical circuits of burners, heaters, motor pumps, alarms, and other electrically operated devices.
